Red semi-sweet wine, made from Saperavi and Rkatsiteli grapes from the Kakheti region, Georgia. Named after a famous Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani, the wine displays dark cherry colour with tender aromas and pleasant sweet taste. After four days on the skins, the wine is pressed off and finished in primary fermentation tanks at 25/27°C. Warm ferments help attain a more tasteful character. This delightful wine has mild spice and light berry fruit on the nose, with soft fusion of sweet fruit and cultured spice on the palate. Smooth and velvety, it’s great with Camembert and various desserts.
