Love Your Gut is organic Diatomaceous Earth – also known as Fossil Shell Flour (Amorphous Silica). Love Your Gut Powder is food-grade, meeting the strict criteria of Food Standards Australia, New Zealand.
Diatomaceous Earth looks like a cylinder/honeycomb full of holes that has a negative charge. Depending on which studies you read, magnesium is responsible for between 300 to 800 enzyme-driven processes in the body. Many of these are nervous system-related enzymes. This reflects magnesium’s important part in physiological and pathological function.* And, magnesium is critical for the absorption of vitamin D, which helps regulate calcium to influence bone growth and maintenance.

Dosage:
Adults: Always start with a smidge! Begin with one capsule daily with food. Then take four capsules together, or as directed by a qualified medical practitioner. (See “low and slow” note below.)
Children: Morning Magnesium is not recommended for children under 5 years of age, as it may cause excitability. For children 5 and older, take one capsule and work up to two capsules.
How to take: Morning Magnesium should be taken with food in general, with breakfast or lunch. Avoid taking in the late afternoon or evening, as it may disrupt sleep. For best results, take Smidge® Evening Magnesium later in the day, to help you wind down for a more restful sleep — and to soak up a total of five different types of premium magnesium between the two products. If you’re taking only part of the capsule, you can mix the contents with yogurt or a smoothie.
Start low and slow: Smidge® supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it’s critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended.
