Please note: Sodium hydroxide is required during traditional soap making. It reacts with the plant oils during the process of saponification to form soap and glycerin. Dr. Bronner's states that no sodium hydroxide remains after saponification is complete.
Suggested Use: Wet the soap and the area to be cleansed. Work the bar between wet hands, onto a washcloth or directly against wet skin to create a rich lather. Massage gently over the desired area and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
