Jigsaw Activated B w/SRT utilizes only the active B vitamin forms in a timed-release formula to fuel your body all day long. Your body uses B-vitamins in every cell in your body, every second of the day and night. Since they are water-soluble, your body cannot store B-vitamins and you must have a constant supply to keep your body systems functioning properly -- especially to maintain healthy energy levels.*
Activated simply means that the B-vitamins are in their active form. Most vitamin B supplement products contain only the inactive forms. Inactive B-vitamins require conversion by the liver so they can be absorbed and utilized. But because your liver can only convert them so fast, they are often quickly eliminated from your body before offering many benefits.

Active vs Inactive Forms of B Vitamins
Why is the active form of vitamin B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) important?
P5P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), the active form of Vitamin B6, performs over 30 critical enzymatic reactions in the body, including the manufacture of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. The inactive forms of B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride, pyridoxal, or pyridoxamine) have to be converted by the liver to the active form (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate or P5P) the body needs. Individuals with compromised liver function have difficulty making this conversion and consequently may be at risk of a vitamin B6 deficiency.*

B-vitamins consist of 8 individual water-soluble vitamins: B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, Folate, and Biotin. These 8 B-vitamins are often sold combined as a "B-Complex". Jigsaw Activated B w/SRT includes all 8 of the B-vitamins.
Active Ingredients: Thiamine (as Benfotiamine), Riboflavin (as Riboflavin-5-Phosphate Sodium), Niacin (as Niacinamide), Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate Monohydrate), Folate (as Quatrefolic® 5-Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid Glucosamine Salt), Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin), Biotin (Vitamin H), Pantothenic Acid (as Calcium D-Pantothenate), Choline (as VitaCholine® Choline Bitartrate), Inositol, PABA (Para Aminobenzoic Acid).
Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose & Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (plant-based insoluble fibers used to achieve SRT); Stearic Acid (insoluble lubricant); Croscarmellose Sodium (plant-based insoluble fiber used as disintegrant); Magnesium Stearate (lubricant); Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking agent); Guar Gum & Xanthan Gum (used to achieve SRT), Clear Coating as Sunflower Oil & Micro Wax (exterior coating for easier swallowing); Dicalcium Phosphate (used as carrier of Biotin).
