Unlike other spirulina, Lifestream Spirulina Blue Extra is loaded with phycocyanins. At 23% phycocyanin, it contains 50% more of this key active constituent than other spirulina.

To achieve this the spirulina is carefully grown so that it's naturally higher in phycocyanin as well as other nutrients including the antioxidant zeaxanthin, vitamin B3 and the omega-6 fatty acid GLA. These nutrients help to support the body's natural response to stress. Vitamin B3 is important for healthy energy production, while zeaxanthin has potent antioxidant actions to help guard against cellular free radical damage.

Suggested Use:
